Russian mezzo-soprano Nadezhda Serdjuk is a singer at the Mariinsky academy which trains young singers for the Kirov opera. She won second prize at the XVI International Vocal Glinka Competition, was a finalist in the Operalia 97 Competition, and took second prize in the International Rimsky-Korsakov Competition in 1998.
