 Listen To Music
 List/Buy Works

Pablo Sorozábal (Born 1897, died 1988). Spanish composer and conductor. Sorozábal began music studies at an early age, and became known as a child prodigy on piano and violin, performing frequently in cinemas, cafes and fairs. He played professionally with the Madrid Symphony Orchestra, which premiered many of his early works. He studied with Krehl and Sitt in Leipzig, and was a composition student of Koch in Berlin. His compositions show influences as diverse in style as the music of Debussy and Puccini, to the broadway musical and jazz. Some of his better known works include La del manojo de roses (1934), La tabernera del puerto (1936), Black, el payaso (1942) and Don Manolito (1943).
