Bendinelli, Cesare

(Born; Verona; Died; ?Munich, 1617). Italian trumpeter. In Vienna from 1567 and chief court trumpeter in Munich from 1580, he is important as compiler of the earliest known trumpet method, Tutta l'arte della trombetta (Circa;1614), which contains the first dated pieces (1584-8) for the clarino register.
